Mike Wright, a veteran of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, says the young people working under him in the armed forces were "amazing" and part of the "next greatest generation" in a clip from Tom Brokaw's Hiring our Heroes report.

Watch Tom's full report Monday, March 26 on TODAY as part of the kickoff to the three-day series, which aims to help get the nation's veterans back into the workforce.

The series will include a worldwide job fair Wednesday, March 28, hosted online and in New York City, Chicago and Fort Hood.
